Breda, Netherlands,: NewCold is expanding in its home country with an automated warehouse under construction in Dinteloord, North Brabant. NewCold has recently acquired the Koel-en Vrieshuis Reimerswaal site in Kruiningen, Zeeland.
Bram Hage, chief executive, NewCold, said: “Due to customer demand, NewCold is expanding its footprint in the Netherlands. Alongside the greenfield project at Dinteloord, where we are building a state-of-the-art facility, we see great value in KVR’s strategic location.
“We also see a good opportunity to unlock additional capabilities through refurbishment and deploying NewCold’s proprietary software and automated solutions in the warehouse. We will also expand the facility’s pallet position capacity.”
NewCold is also growing in the United States, where a fourth site is nearing completion. And NewCold is moving into new markets, with expansion to India and Canada planned.
“NewCold has earned its reputation for innovation. We are growing because we deliver high-level service consistently, using automation and proprietary software to cut loading times, costs, and carbon footprints,” Hage said.
