Genk, Belgium: Belgian company H Essers has acquired French temperature-controlled company Transports Frigorifiques des Monts d’Or based in Lissieu, eastern France. The company employs 170 drivers and runs about 150 trucks. Pharmaceutical transport makes up almost 30% of its business, a sector of particular interest to H Essers.
H Essers is a family-owned business with its head office in Genk. The acquisition of TFMO comes after H Essers bought Italian transport firm Romano Trasporti in October 2023. Romano focuses on transport for the healthcare sector.
H Essers is aiming to expand and strengthen its healthcare logistics network in Italy.
