Sherborne, UK: Hunt’s Food Group is adding 25 trucks to 75 vehicle fleet. The new additions include 3.5-tonne Mercedes Benz vans, which are on the roads now, and 13 Dafs, ranging from 12 to 18 tonnes, due to be delivered later this year.
Solomon provided the Slipstream bodies, Carrier Transicold the Supra refrigeration, and Dhollandia provided 1.5 tonne tail lifts on nine of the larger trucks.
Solomon has provided Hunt’s with bodies for the previous six years. Phil Hopkins, transport director, Hunt’s, said: “We rely on Solomon Commercials to provide us with the best temperature-controlled vehicles to meet the needs of the business, and we trust their guidance and advice.”
