Star Refrigeration’s group sales and marketing director Rob Lamb, Sainsbury’s refrigeration engineering design manager Paul Arrowsmith and the founder of World Refrigeration Day Steve Gill have all been nominated for the future President of the IOR.
The three were chosen from 13 eligible members considered for the role by the IOR nominations committee.
Members can now propose their own candidates for the role. Details of the requirements for additional member candidates can be found on the IOR website. Closing date is noon on 29 August.
Voting opens in September and results will be announced at the AGM on 29 October.
Once appointed, the president-elect will work with the current IOR president Lisa-Jayne Cook in her role as chair of the IOR board of trustees until her term ends next year.
