Mypower, a leading provider of commercial solar energy solutions and a respected Cold Chain Federation award winner, will be a key exhibitor at its flagship event, Cold Chain Live! 2025, taking place on October 15th and 16th on stand 408.
Mypower’s presence is highly anticipated, as their experts are set to engage with cold storage and logistics professionals on one of the industry’s most pressing challenges: escalating energy overheads. With energy costs remaining a significant pain point for the sector, the event provides a crucial platform for attendees to discover tangible solutions.
The journey to reduced bills starts with a conversation and Cold Chain Live! 2025 is engineered to facilitate just that. Mypower’s team, armed with extensive data and expertise in bespoke Solar Project Management, will be on hand to demonstrate how tailored solar installations can dramatically lower operational expenses. The company suggests that its solutions have the potential to reduce energy bills by up to 75% per kWh for suitable businesses.
“Energy costs are a constant pain point for the cold chain sector, threatening profitability and sustainability,” said Neil Stott, Mypower’s Business Development Director. “As Cold Chain Federation award winners, we understand these pressures intimately. That’s why we’re bringing our Solar Project Management experts to Cold Chain Live! 2025 to show businesses, with hard data, exactly how a bespoke solar solution can reduce their energy bill by up to 75% per kWh. The journey to reduced bills starts with a conversation at our stand, turning a pain point into a profit point.”
In September 2024, Mypower completed a 1.78MWp solar project for AJK Ltd, who recognised the need to reduce their environmental impact in an energy-intensive sector. With rising energy costs and sustainability targets, they sought a long-term solution to cut carbon emissions and reliance on grid electricity. The solar PV system produces around 1,419,975 kWh units of energy per annum, saving AJK Ltd £267,426 in the first year alone. You can read more about this project in Mypower’s case study.
