Lutterworth, UK: Armstrong Logistics has ten new Volvo FM 420 Globetrotter 4×2 tractors.
Truck and Bus Wales and West supplied the vehicles that take Armstrong Logistics’ fleet to 82 vehicles. The new trucks will be primarily used to deliver to UK supermarkets.
Marcus Fischer, commercial and finance director, Armstrong Logistics, said: “Our trucks are literally a home away from home for our drivers and therefore we see their comfort as non-negotiable. The last thing we want is for them to dread a long trip out on the road, and so it is only right that we spec our units so highly.”
