Artee Roadways to set up business in Congo

Anand, Gujarat, India: A delegation from the Democratic Republic of Congo has invited Anand-based Artee Roadways to set up a cold chain, warehousing and transport business in the African country.

The delegation led by deputy minister of international and regional co-operation Dismass Magbengu Swana Emin invited the Anand-based firm to set up a business.

“During their visit, the delegation has promised us all the help from their government to set up cold chain, warehousing and transportation business there,” says Deepak Shah, managing director of Artee Roadways, a Rs 400 crore firm which is a major player in refrigeration transportation and container business.

“We have decided to send a team to Congo to understand their rules and regulations, infrastructure and market conditions. The team will carry out a survey and prepare a proposal based on which we can start our operations at Congo,” says Shah, adding that the firm will first focus in urban areas of the African nation.
