Bolloré expands pharma warehousing in France

Alsace, France: Bolloré Logistics’ contract logistics subsidiary, Bolloré Solutions Logistiques has acquired Stef Logistique Santé to grow its contract logistics business in France and strengthen its presence in the pharmaceutical industry. Stef Logistique Santé, the healthcare subsidiary of France-based Stef Group, has three sites in Strasbourg (Port du Rhin).

As a result of the acquisition, Bolloré has acquired around 13,000sq m of warehousing space at temperatures of +2°/+8°C, +15°/+25°C and -20°C. Bolloré now operates over 85,000sq m of warehousing in France, including a 10,000sq m temperature-controlled logistics site in Alsace, built in 2021 at Strasbourg Entzheim airport. Bolloré provides high value-added services for pharmaceutical products and logistics operations from this location, including the handling of air and sea exports.

The European Commission recently approved CMA CGM’s proposed acquisition of Bolloré Logistics which has just completed.
