British Frozen Food Federation celebrates 75th anniversary

Newark, UK: The British Frozen Food Federation is celebrating 75 years.

Rupert Ashby, chief executive, said: “We have come a long way over the past 75 years, and frozen food is now more popular than ever as a healthy, nutritious, and affordable way of stocking our kitchens.”

Between 1948 and 1973, the Federation was known as the National Association of Wholesale Distributors of Frozen Foods. In 1973, its expanded to represent the entire frozen food chain and was re-named as the British Frozen Food Federation. It now has 241 members.
