Hull, UK: Robson Refrigeration, pictured above, which trades as Carrier Transicold East & North Yorkshire, has expanded its workshop and taken delivery of the first two of five service vans for its mobile engineers.
“We have been planning this move for a number of years to help us meet the demands of our growing customer base,” said Colin Robson, managing director, Robson Refrigeration.
“This gives us the space we need to accelerate our growth and take full advantage of the opportunities available to us with Carrier.
“We believe the decisions we’ve made with this new facility truly underline our commitment to Carrier Transicold. This workshop will help us deliver a step up in performance for our customers, along with a safe, efficient, and temperature-controlled working environment for our team. We’re confident it will more than meet the demands of both Carrier’s current, and next generation of products.”
Elsewhere in the network, CB Transport Refrigeration, which trades as Carrier Transicold Northwest, East Midlands & West Midlands, has relocated its East Midlands base to a modern new site in Northampton.
“We’ve been working with Carrier since 1985 and our relationship is as close as it has ever been,” said Kevin Collins, managing director, CB Transport Refrigeration.
“We’re always looking at ways to improve, and this move has certainly helped achieve that. Our East Midlands operation now enjoys a much more convenient location with easy access to the M1, which means we can support customers much more efficiently.
