Cathay Cargo to use Tower Cold Chain temperature-controlled boxes

SIngapore: Cathay Cargo is to rent temperature-controlled boxes from Tower Cold Chain, giving its customers access to a wider range of temperature-controlled solutions in terms of container size and payload volume.

Tower Cold Chain’s boxes suit pharmaceutical, biotech and life-science products and allow the airline to extend its range of container choice.

This new partnership means customers can access and order Tower’s passive cold chain boxes either via the Tower website or through Cathay’s booking service.

Tower’s containers cover payloads ranging from 3075 litres to 26.4 litres – the latter ideal for small-batch, direct-to-patient shipments, Tower says.

This long-term deal coincides with the airline’s rebrand. at Cathay Cargo. It was previously called Cathay Pacific Cargo.
