Peterborough, UK: Chiltern Distribution has added its 100th trailer to the fleet.
Gray & Adams built the milestone trailer. Paul Jackson, managing director, Chiltern Distribution, said: “There was only ever going to be one trailer company to build our 100th trailer, and that’s Gray & Adams.”
The body on this 100th trailer has steel flooring, additional pallet protection, a rear buffer bar, aerodynamic features and cappings, and special livery.

Chiltern operates a ‘One Driver – One Truck – One Trailer’ system where possible that allows drivers to take pride in their fleet through their “ownership” of the trailer. The system gives drivers accountability and helps to ensure the care and condition of their vehicle for the duration of its service to the business, Jackson said.
