Grazeley, Berkshire: The Cold Chain Federation’s webinar on cyber crime and the threat it poses to the cold chain industry takes place on Tuesday 17 May between 10:30 and 11:30.
Cyber crime is increasingly becoming a major risk to supply chain businesses, with ransomware in particular experiencing frightening growth, the federation says.
In the cyber crime session, part of the week long series of event, the focus is on the main threats to the UK cold chain and how businesses can protect themselves from an attack.
Attendees will hear how the government is supporting businesses to improve security and how software and IT solutions can be an effective frontline against cyber criminals.
There will be speakers from the National Cyber Crime Centres, part of GCHQ, and the UK’s technical authority for cyber threats.
Also speaking is Jay Tahasildar who has over 25 years’ experience in the information technology sector. He is managing director of Mercurius IT, a Gold Microsoft Partner that empowers businesses to become even more efficient.
