Cold Chain Transport Week

Reading, UK: The Cold Chain Federation’s second virtual conference of the year, Cold Chain Transport Week, starts tomorrow with the first of three webinars.

Tuesday 25 April 10am – Natural refrigerants in transport refrigeration: Introducing E-CoolTec
The first webinar considers the use of refrigerants in transport refrigeration, including how the F-Gas regulations are placing operators under pressure to find alternatives to the high GWP refrigerants currently ubiquitous in transport refrigeration units. The webinar examines how natural refrigerants provide a solution to these challenges and introduce the new E-CoolTec transport refrigeration unit, which offers diesel-free refrigeration using natural refrigerants.

Thursday 27 April 10am – Cold chain conversation: the opportunites of hydrogen
This webinar debates the landscape for alternatives to diesel for HGVs. An expert panel will discuss the merits of low carbon fuels and discuss how the markets for electric and hydrogen vehicles will develop in the coming years. The webinar also assesses how the business case for investing in alternatives to diesel stacks up as well as taking an in-depth look at businesses and government’s role in rolling out the infrastructure required to power the vehicles of the future.
