CubeCold enters the French Cold Storage Market with the acquisition of 24H Frost

CubeCold, a leading European provider of cold storage and logistics solutions, has entered the French market with its acquisition of 24H Frost, a key frozen storage provider located in the port of Loon-Plage, Dunkirk.  This acquisition marks another important milestone in CubeCold’s growth strategy. With this acquisition, CubeCold now manages a portfolio of over 700,000 pallet spaces across the Benelux, UK, Spain, Italy, and France, continuing its strong focus on sustainable growth.

Strategic Expansion into Key Logistics Port in Northern France

The acquisition of 24H Frost significantly strengthens CubeCold’s offering by adding a strategically located, state-of-the-art fully automated cold storage facility within one of Northern France’s most important logistics and production ports. The site currently comprises over 12,000 frozen pallet positions with a meaningful expansion opportunity to further support global food manufacturers with efficient and reliable temperature-controlled storage solutions.

“24H Frost is a strategic addition to CubeCold and marks an important step in our expansion into France,” said Paul Jukes, Chief Operating Officer at CubeCold. “This acquisition strengthens our operational capabilities and enhances our ability to deliver efficient, high-quality temperature-controlled logistics services in a new, highly strategic market for CubeCold.”

CubeCold will maintain 24H Frost’s existing service model, ensuring continuity, reliability and customer confidence while integrating 24H Frost into CubeCold’s broader pan-European cold chain network.

“Our priority has always been to ensure peace of mind for our clients. With CubeCold’s support, we will strengthen our position in the Northern France and Benelux cold storage markets and expand our reach across Europe. We remain fully committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement of our services, and delivering value to our customers while preserving our corporate values and culture. Through CubeCold, our customers will now benefit from access to a pan-European cold storage network,” adds Jolien Deruyttere, General Manager at 24H Frost.
