Culina Group has made two key additions to its senior leadership team.

Thierry Held has been appointed to the role of chief finance officer for the group. He brings a wealth of experience having held senior roles across the finance, mining and logistics sectors, most recently as CFO Europe for Kuehne and Nagel.

Stephen Taylor has also joined the group as chief executive for the company’s Stobart division. He brings with him the experience of having managed logistics operations across the UK including senior leadership roles with Tibbet and Brittan, DHL, Wincanton and Kingfisher. Most recently, he has led his own logistics consultancy.

These hires join the new leadership team of Liam McElroy who was appointed to the role of chief executive of Culina Group in February this year. The company said he is already establishing his vision for the group to leverage the company’s decade of growth and present scale to offer customers a more integrated and bespoke offering across their full logistics needs.

“I’m delighted to welcome Theirry and Steve to the Culina Group,” McElroy said. “They are both highly experienced leaders, and I have no doubt they will be hugely valuable additions to our Culina board.

“We have grown rapidly over the last ten years but now is the right time to build on the many synergies across our warehousing, transport, e-comm and integrated logistics offerings to provide our customers with better end-to-end solutions, designed to make their lives simpler and more efficient.”
