Bleiswijk, Netherlands: Daily Logistics Group has acquired the logistics activities of Gist Nederland. The acquisition covers Gist’s logistics services in the Benelux.
The takeover includes a distribution centre at Bleiswijk and will boost Daily Logistics’ existing services, says Joost Visbeen chief executive, Daily Logistics Group.
“The fast changes in the entire supply chain world were the reason for us to make this strategic decision to expand and strengthen our services. We noticed that the flower and plant sector fits perfectly in our existing services.
“With the acquisition of Gist Nederland, we immediately create a solid seat within this market segment. With this upscaling, we are able to offer our customers an even better range of services. Upscaling is also necessary to have the ability to keep up with flexibility, energy transitions and digitisation, he says
