Deadline looms for Cold Chain Sustainability Awards

Reading, UK: The deadline for entries to the Cold Chain Sustainability Awards is next week, 31 January 2023.

The Cold Chain Sustainability Awards is a new recognition scheme for the businesses, facilities and individuals leading the charge towards a more sustainable UK cold storage and temperature-controlled distribution.

The awards celebrate those businesses who have met or exceeded their targets under the Climate Change Agreement Scheme or their own in-house sustainability objectives both cold stores and/or for transport operators.

Applications are now open for 5 award categories, with another 5 being invitation only based on performance under the Climate Change Agreement for cold storage.

The award categories are:
Sustainable Cold Storage Operator
This award is about recognising the cold storage business who has led the way in assessing and acting on their carbon emissions over the last 12 months.

Sustainable Cold Chain Transport Operator
