FridgeXpress, the UK’s specialist temperature-controlled vehicle rental business, is accelerating its national expansion with five new locations across the country, enhancing local support and availability for customers nationwide.
The new locations extend FridgeXpress’s reach beyond its Rugby headquarters and add to the wider group’s existing network of 68 dedicated workshops across the UK, enabling it to better service its southern based customers more efficiently.
The new sites are strategically located in Glasgow, Stockton, Crawley, Bristol, and Barking, each offering faster rental response times and improved access to FridgeXpress’s market-leading refrigerated van hire services. Each new location will provide temperature-controlled vehicles for immediate hire.
This latest expansion supports FridgeXpress’s commitment to providing both chilled and frozen vehicle hire solutions to businesses of all sizes, offering both short- and long-term options with rapid vehicle availability.
In addition to expanding its national footprint, FridgeXpress customers are now benefiting from the company’s partnership with sister company Blakedale to access HGV fridge vehicle hire options for the first time.
This includes the recent introduction of bespoke 7.5-tonne and 18-tonne refrigerated trucks. Designed and built in partnership with Blakedale’s specialist bodybuilder network, the vehicles are fully customised to meet the demands of chilled and frozen logistics operations, providing even more choice for FridgeXpress customers.
FridgeXpress is part of the Northgate Businesses Group allowing customers access to Northgate’s extensive national network and support infrastructure, alongside the ‘One Road’ initiative, which provides a single point of contact across FridgeXpress, Blakedale, and Northgate Vehicle Hire for a simpler, more streamlined rental experience.
