Biggleswade, UK: Hultsteins and Addvolt are hosting a powerpack demo day on Wednesday 25 September 2024, at Hultsteins’ premises in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
Guests can expect to see products from Addvolt and Hultsteins. For example, by combining an Addvolt powerpack with a Hultsteins’ Ecogen2 hydraulic generator, refrigerated transport operators can get 100% electrically-powered refrigeration for both urban multi-drop and long-distance deliveries.
Hultsteins says Addvolt powerpacks transform diesel fridges into full electric zero emission fridge units for urban operations. For multi-drop operations, run time can be extended by adding a propshaft alternator, so the powerpack is charged while the vehicle is on the road.
The open day, says Hultsteins, provides an opportunity for refrigerated fleet operators to see products in action and find out what equipment best suits their specific operation, and to discover how Addvolt and Hultsteins can help cut costs and carbon.
“We will also have demonstrations of our Ecogen and Ecofridge products, as well as the UK’s first fully electric fridge with a built-in battery fitted to a 5.2m body,” says Hultsteins.
