Happy Birthday – Global Cold Chain News is one year old today

London, UK: Global Cold Chain News, one year on, has been a “resounding success” says editor Dean Stiles.

“Since our launch on 14 April last year we have seen our visitor numbers grow steadily to reach 21,645 this month,” he says.

The site has a strong UK and European bias with nearly 70% of visitors from the region.

“Our formula for www.globalcoldchainnews.com, to provide a content-rich website that guides readers through today’s information overload, is proving right,” he says.

On average four new stories are posted each day and the site now includes a jobs section, a supplier directory, as well as free downloads.

“The business model, to provide free information to readers funded by advertising and sponsorship, means we can bring readers free, detailed reports to update them on the latest trends and developments in the temperature-controlled transport and distribution industry.”

“One of the most popular innovations has been our free weekly e-newsletters. We now have 3,500 subscribers signed up,” Stiles says.

Global Cold Chain News reports news and events in Britain, Europe and worldwide about temperature-controlled transport, storage, and distribution of food, pharmaceuticals, and other temperature-controlled products.
