The results align with what fleet operators have reported in the field: Carrier Transicold’s units deliver lower fuel consumption without compromising on temperature performance – directly supporting operators’ sustainability objectives alongside their bottom line.
In recent head-to-head tests conducted across a range of operating conditions, the Vector S 15 delivered more than 30% greater fuel efficiency in continuous operation and more than 20% in start/stop operation compared with an equivalent competitor unit, resulting in a direct reduction in fuel spend and emissions for real-world fleet operators. For higher-demand applications, the more powerful Vector HE 17 pushes those gains further, achieving up to 16% greater efficiency than the Vector S 15, as demonstrated in a separate trial, through advanced inverter technology that scales output to actual load demand.
