HSH Coldstores renamed as Constellation Cold Logistics UK

Grimsby, UK: Constellation Cold Logistics is renaming all its subsidiary companies with the Constellation brand. In the UK, HSH Cold Stores, which acquired ACS&T early this year, will now be known as Constellation Cold Logistics UK.

Anthony Howard, managing director, HSH, now Constellation Cold Logistics UK, said: “We are still the same team offering the same great service, prioritising the needs of our customers. Since joining Constellation in 2021, we have benefitted from collaborating with our European partners, and the rebrand will help further strengthen our ties and help us develop additional capabilities to support our customers’ growth.”

HSH was started in 1970 as a haulage business by John T Howard (Grimsby) the current HSE managing director Anthony Howard’s father. HSH was set up in 2003, and now has four sites in Grimsby and Redditch with 65,000 pallet positions.

Anthony Howard, managing director, HSH, now Constellation Cold Logistics UK, said “We are still the same team offering the same great service, prioritising the needs of our customers.”

HSH acquired ACS&T in January, and the ACS&T business will follow HSH in rebranding as Constellation Cold Logistics UK at a later date.

Constellation, which has some 600,000 pallet positions of temperature-controlled capacity in Europe, is part of Arcus Infrastructure Partners.

Carlos Rodriguez, chief executive, Constellation, said: “This is a natural step within our buy-and-build strategy, which focuses on investing in long-term partnerships with customers to deliver cold logistics excellence with local market expertise throughout Europe. The rebranding is part of our vision to deliver cold logistics excellence with a common culture, customer experience and in line with the company values of trust, excellence, entrepreneurship and one-team.”
