Inverdell adds a tractor as demand rises

Prestwick, Scotland: Family-owned haulier Inverdell has added a new Daf tractor to its fleet to cope with rising demand for general and temperature-controlled freight.

Asset Alliance Group supplied the Daf XF FTG.480 6×2 tractor unit on a three-year full-service contract.
The new vehicle will operate six days a week, carrying out the company’s general haulage work and supporting additional contracts with other operators close to its bases at Prestwick International Airport and Cairndow.

Allan Clark, managing director, Inverdell, said: “With Christmas fast approaching, we wanted to make sure we could keep up with an increase in demand and additional work we’ve taken on to support local companies.
Asset Alliance Group has provided us with the best vehicle for our needs and ensured we can operate to the highest standards during the Christmas period, into the new year and beyond.”

“We’ve worked with Asset Alliance Group before and the team are always a pleasure to deal with. The whole process is straightforward, and the customer service is impeccable, I can’t fault it.”

The new tractor has a lane departure warning system, vehicle stability control, forward collision warning and an advanced emergency braking system along with sat-nav, LED headlights and a fridge.

Asset Alliance Group’s full-service contract is based on a single monthly payment which includes all safety inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs, tyre cover, and roadside assistance.

Clark said: “Maximising our uptime so the vehicles we need are always on the road is vital to us. The full-service deal gives us peace of mind that there is someone on hand to support us every time.”
