Temperature-controlled storage and distribution specialist JS Davidson has once again been awarded the prestigious AA grade under the BRCGS (Global Standard) for Storage & Distribution, marking its fourth consecutive year at this level of accreditation.
The BRCGS Standard for Storage and Distribution is a globally recognised benchmark for excellence, requiring risk-based product safety systems and rigorous quality controls to ensure that goods remain safe, stable, and high-quality throughout their entire journey through the supply chain.
This milestone comes against a backdrop of continued growth and ongoing programme of investment for JS Davidson, fuelled by increasing demand for chilled and frozen logistics services.
With quality and compliance of its operation, JS Davidson prides itself on offering an end to end solution incorporating multi-temperature storage, co-packing and processing, distribution and freight.
The award-winning company is committed to continually upgrading its infrastructure and has introduced a number of enhancements to its service offering include a portable hybrid blast-freezing / tempering unit, new vehicles and forklifts, a warehouse management system (WMS), and upgraded refrigeration systems (including a GEA compressor and an air-cooled cooling tower).
Such developments form part of a broader strategy: JS Davidson is aiming for further strategic growth as well as implementing an ambitious sustainability programme as it sets its sights on becoming carbon neutral.
