Paris, France: The acquisition of Langdons helped boost the international turnover of French temperature-controlled giant Stef in the second quarter of this year.
Stef acquired Langdons at the end of last year. Stef says that Langdons had a turnover of €53m in the second quarter. Stef’s international turnover rose from €238.4m to €335.7 – a jump of 40.9%.
“In the United Kingdom, the activities of the company Langdons contributed strongly to the growth in international turnover,” Stef said.
Overall, Stef’s turnover rose 25.1% from €848.8m in the second quarter of 2021 to €1,062.1m in the second quarter of 2022.
“The quarter benefited from the good momentum of food consumption in April and May as well as the integration of the recently acquired companies,” Stef said.
“A geopolitical and economic context still marked by high uncertainties that are likely to be a burden on the end of the year.”
