Latvian logistics group buys UK haulage firm

Immingham, UK: Latvian logistics group Kreiss, based in Mārupe, Latvia, has acquired C Neil Dowson, a distribution business in the port of Immingham.

Kreiss provides road transport across Europe for a variety of goods, including frozen and perishable goods, along with pharmaceuticals. It has a fleet of around 2,000 trucks and trailers.

This is Kreiss’ first acquisition in the UK. It will enable Kreiss to further expand its international operations. C Neil Dowson provides haulage services throughout the UK.
