Zoetermeer, Netherlands: Leen Menken Foodservice Logistics is expanding with a new cold store at the Lansinghage business park.
In this new warehouse, Leen Menken is combining the storage of chilled and frozen food, order picking, pallet and last-mile transport throughout the Benelux.
“With this expansion, Leen Menken’s capacity will almost double,” says Lucas Roskam, general manager, Leen Menken.
“In addition to a natural refrigerant, the roof will be fully equipped with solar panels and additional wind energy will be used as an energy source.”
The new building will be operational at the end of 2022.
