London, UK: by Lineage, which is hosting the Food Chain Innovation Challenge, has extended the applicant deadline. Due to overwhelming demand, the entry deadline for applicants for the Food Chain Innovation Challenge has been extended to the 21October 2024.
The competition invites students and startups to develop and pitch innovative solutions tackling food waste. Participants are asked to pitch their existing ideas across these four specific areas:
- Reducing food waste
- Innovative food preservation techniques
- Access to nutritious food
- Data-driven insights and analytics.
Regional events will take place in three global locations: London on 14 November, Amsterdam on 19 November, and San Francisco on 19 November. During each event, students and startups will present their solutions to an esteemed regional judging panel.
The judges will select a regional winner, who will be awarded a $5,000 cash prize and an invite to the grand final event on December 2nd. One grand final winner will be chosen to receive a $50,000 prize and an invite into a six-month executive-led incubator program tailored to their unique business goals.
