Doncaster, UK: Pharmaceutical wholesaler Mawdsleys is building a new cold store in Doncaster.
Contractor Russell WBHO has started work on the £12m extension that will double the size of the firm’s existing cold store and distribution site at Redhouse, Doncaster. The project is due for completion this summer.
The 152,000sq ft portal frame warehouse comprises a 146,238sq ft temperature-controlled chamber, with 12 loading docks to 12.5m to eaves, internal racking with sprinkler system, and 4,542sq ft of office space.
Russell WBHO will also complete a new external service yard and rear access road at the site off Rockingham Way.
