Derby, UK: Promotional model vehicle supplier Search Impex has released a 1:50 scale Volvo FH-500 Globetrotter XL (6×2) tractor with 3-axle refrigerated trailer in McCulla’s 50th anniversary livery.
The models have been produced exclusively for Search Impex by WSI Models as a certificated limited edition of 175 pieces.
McCulla (Ireland) set up in 1969 and now operates from Ballymount, Dublin, Ireland. The company has over 8500 refrigerated pallet spaces, blast freezing and defrost, and offers temperature-controlled haulage services in Ireland, the UK and Europe.
With over 100 trucks and 160 trailers in its fleet, including artics, refrigerated vans and rigids, McCulla trucks are a familiar sight to many collectors.
