Munich, Germany: Transport fridge maker Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Transport Europe is using the Hanover Show to promote its deal with Idem to offer its telematics on Mitsubishi fridges.
Earlier, Mitsubishi launched an all electric fridge. Now it is cooperating with Idem for open-system transport telematics.
At the IAA Transport show (20-25 September), Mitsubishi will show open telematics portal based on Idem’s Cargofleet3 telematics system. The open interfaces allows access to all vehicles telematics hardware as well as software applications, such as transport management systems, rental company systems, freight wallets, and ERP systems.
Bjцrn Reckhorn, managing director sales and aftersales, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Transport Europe said: “Transport logistics are unthinkable today without telematics. We are pleased to be working with idem telematics, because we share the same view of quality, safety and system openness.
“Together we tap into the efficiency gains of telematics for transport companies and at the same time protect their independence from individual providers. A significant issue for both companies is predictive analysis, so that the system always remains operational and is maintained at the perfect time.”
Jens Zeller, managing director of Idem telematics said: “More and more of our transport customers are choosing Mitsubishi because they appreciate the reliability, performance and ultra-fast, precise response of the transport refrigeration systems. The interaction of our telematics with Mitsubishi refrigeration technology has proven itself for years; now we are looking forward to taking the cooperation to the next level together.”
