Venice, Italy: Stef Seafood Italia and Mediterranea Trasporti, which coordinates Marlog operations, have formed a joint venture to better serve Italian and international customers.
The new company, Med Sealog, will operate from Milan, Rome and in Venice providing fresh seafood to retailers, wholesalers, importers, traders and producers.
Med Sealog will be 60% owned by Mediterranea Trasporti and 40% by Stef Italia. The company will be headquartered in Venice, with a direct and indirect workforce of some 150 people.
