New lightweight low-floor van conversion from Maxi-Low UK

Loughborough, UK: Maxi-Low UK has expanded its low-floor van range to include a new, lighter range of chilled and frozen vehicles.

The low-floor design is available in chilled and frozen specification on the low-floor Mercedes Sprinter, Volkswagen Crafter and MAN TGE chassis.

Payloads are up to 1400kg depending on final specification on the 3.5-tonne range with single and dual compartments.

Options include insulated side access doors, rear single door, barn doors or an insulated roller shutter.
James Taylor, sales director, Maxi-Low said: “We have spent the last few years, developing a lightweight and robust system that offers the user the maximum amount of payload on a low entry chassis.

“The ability to offer the new lightweight body on premium chassis marques like the Volkswagen, Mercedes or the MAN TGE gives the customer the confidence of a superior build. With our unique one-piece insulated roof with built in aerodynamics to reduce air drag and improve fuel economy, we are working with the end users to maximise the efficiency of their fleet.”

Maxi-Low plans to further expand it temperature-controlled lightweight range into other areas such as standard height chassis and provide a new HGV range of lightweight bodies.

Maxi-Low UK will be at at the TCS&D Show, Peterborough, 7 and 8 September.
