New website for Transcan

Northampton, UK: Transcan has a new website as part of its rebranding project.

Transcan is a live temperature monitoring system and part of an integrated, single-box telematics platform.

It can be installed in a variety of ways. The ‘cab’ system is inside the bulkhead of refrigerated vans or vehicles. The ‘rigid’ system fits inside a ‘DIN’ radio slot, and the ‘trailer’ system can be fitted externally onto the refrigerated container itself.

Gathering data from up to eight onboard temperature sensors and a humidity sensor if required, Transcan enables customers to track deliveries in real-time. Enabling cold-chain fleets to ensure deliveries arrive at their destination on time and in good, unspoiled condition.

The system also provides operators with live ETA alerts and physical proof-of-temperature reports, in a format that can be stored for up to two years. As well as providing real-time alerts and reports, the system can be accessed remotely, with pre-set alerts sounding if the air temperature inside the container dips below the desired level.

Andrew Overton, chief executiver, Connexas Group, said: “Demand for fleet management solutions for the cold chain market is growing and we want Transcan, which has been serving the market for more than 25 years, to stand out as a clear market leader in its field.

“By re-branding Transcan’s offering, we aim to ensure it is as visible as possible as part of Connexas Group’s portfolio of connected vehicle technologies for the fleet industry.

“For operators involved in transporting refrigerated freight in the UK or internationally, access to reliable temperature monitoring and control systems is essential. Transcan provides a best-in-class solution for all operators, regardless of their scale or the nature of the goods they transport,” he said.
