Breda, the Netherlands: NewCold is celebrating 12 years of growth since it was founded in the Netherlands on 16 July 2012.
Bram Hage founded the company from a small office Breda – with the backing of Westport Capital Partners, NewCold has grown rapidly. It now has a global network that includes 18, mostly highly automated, warehouses, in 10 countries. NewCold offers storage capacity of over 1,555,700 pallet positions.
NewCold says that it is now a “global leader in automated temperature-controlled storage and distribution”.
The company is planning further expansion with warehouses being developed in new markets and countries, such as Canada and New Zealand. Transport operations now serve customers in India.
Several existing sites are expanding their capacity, including Kutno (Poland), Melbourne (Australia), and Lebanon (USA).
“As we celebrate this milestone, we also extend our gratitude to our customers, investors, and strategic partners,” said chief executive Hage.
“Here’s to many more years of innovation, growth, and success! Together, we are building the future of advanced food logistics.”
