NH Case takes Schmitz rigid reefer

Wincanton, UK: NH Case, a long-term Schmitz Cargobull buyer, has added another rigid reefer to its nine-vehicle fleet, the latest for its London operation.

The refrigerated body is on a 15-tonne MAN TGM 4×2 and will deliver fresh fish and ready meals to care homes, hospitals, prisons and schools.

Tony Thick, transport manager, NH Case said: “We’ve used them [Schmitz] for two decades and we’ve always been impressed by their performance. The durability helps us to maximise our uptime and maintain our full fleet capacity at all times, which is essential as we’re operating according to time-critical delivery schedules.”

The new truck has an Anteo tail-lift, Carrier Transicold Supra 850 undermount fridge to give -20 to +2 degrees C.

Case expects a ten-year life on the vehicle, carrying out all maintenance itself .
