Dublin, Ireland: Nippon Express has opened a new temperature-controlled warehouse in Dublin to serve pharmaceutical and technology companies.
Ireland is a major pharmaceutical exporter and also has export driven technology industries such as semiconductors that require temperature-controlled logistics.
Nippon Express’s new site, near Dublin airport and seaport, has a clean room with environmental requirements (temperature/humidity/dust/electrostatic management) necessary for handling semiconductors and electronic components. The site can also handle and store pharmaceuticals.
The Nippon Express Group aims to expand logistics services in Europe with the new warehouse that started working in July. The new warehouse has a floor area of 4,800sq metres and includes a temperature-controlled, nitrogen purging warehouse of 2,500sq metres.
