Northgate Temperature Controlled has supplied a 7.5t Isuzu N75.15(E) refrigerated van to COOK – a nationwide supplier of premium frozen meals. The vehicle is the first light truck to be delivered by Northgate Temperature Controlled, which currently supplies around 50% of COOK’s 80-strong commercial vehicle fleet.
The Isuzu features a lightweight refrigerated body, equipped with a GAH J503 (24v) direct drive refrigeration unit, which can hold approximately 3 tonnes of cargo and boasts more than 20 cubic metres of loadspace.
Procured by Northgate Highways, Northgate Temperature Controlled carried out the installation of the refrigeration unit and will supply maintenance throughout its hire agreement. Through Northgate Mobility’s One Road/One Fleet initiative, COOK also benefits from access to non-refrigerated vehicles under the same rental agreement through a single point of contact, simplifying fleet management.
The truck will contribute to COOK’s operations nationwide and has been supplied on a three-year rental contract, with Northgate Highways providing vehicle upkeep and maintenance, while Northgate Temperature Controlled maintains the refrigerated unit.
COOK, which has been a Northgate Temperature Controlled customer for over a decade, has added this vehicle to an ever-expanding fleet of varying sizes, bodybuilds, manufacturers, and applications.
