Olympus Power has joined forces with Julian House, a charity based in Exeter, to raise awareness and funds for people across the South West. They provide life-changing support for those experiencing domestic abuse, addiction, long-term unemployment, and the harsh reality of sleeping rough. Their services range from emergency accommodation to training opportunities that help people rebuild independence. Last year alone, Julian House supported more than 760 people and provided over 10,500 safe bed nights, proof of the vital role they play in the community.
As part of the #STEPtember challenge, the Olympus Power team has committed to logging 5 million steps (2,500 miles) throughout September via Strava. Their target is to raise £1,500, which will directly support Julian House in delivering these vital frontline services. For many experiencing rough sleeping, the streets can become a constant reminder of instability. But with the right support, safety and independence are possible, and Olympus Power is determined to help make that happen.
Not only are Olympus Power proud to be a platinum sponsor of the Cold Chain Federation, but the business is equally committed to giving back to local communities, supporting charities like Julian House that provide a lifeline for some of the most vulnerable people in society.
