Petit Forestier buys Strate Forme

Villepinte, France: Petit Forestier, via its Lecapitaine subsidiary, has acquired Strate Forme, which make custom-moulded polyester parts for refrigerated vans.

Strate Forme had €3.9m turnover last year.

The acquisition allows Lecapitaine, which designs and builds refrigerated bodies for vans and trucks of all sizes to broaden its range of refrigerated light commercial vehicles.

“This acquisition strengthens our manufacturing operations and bolsters our position as a cold-chain specialist, supporting the long-term growth plan for our rental business,” said Léonard Forestier, chief executive, Petit Forestier group.

“The acquisition of Strate Forme will allow us to expand the range of refrigerated vehicles we offer and continue developing our business, which has grown by 30% in the last 12 months.

“Our business momentum is made possible by our owner and main customer, the Petit Forestier group, which is strongly supporting our development,” Stéphane Marie, chief executive, Lecapitaine Industrie, said.
