Shane Brennan to advise Global Cold Chain Alliance

Arlington, Virginia, US: Shane Brennan has joined the Global Cold Chain Alliance as its new senior adviser to support the delivery of a renewed international communications and advocacy strategy. 

Brennan will combine his role as senior adviser to the Global Cold Chain Alliance, with his role as chief executive of the Cold Chain Federation. 

He joins the team as a part time adviser, working alongside Matt Ott, president, Global Cold Chain Alliance, to develop GCCA strategy in the area of international growth, advocacy and communications. 

Ott said: “I am delighted to welcome Shane into the team. Shane brings an impressive record building up Cold Chain Federation in the UK. Throughout Brexit and Covid, Shane has been a regular presence across national print and broadcast media, speaking up for cold chain. He has also built CCF into a trusted adviser of UK Government and is respected by colleagues across Europe.

Brennan said: “I am excited to join the GCCA team. The past four years have shown just how important the cold chain is. Our members have kept the world fed through a global pandemic, navigated an energy crisis, and sit at the forefront of the technological revolution sweeping logistics.
