Lancashire based refrigeration specialists and Cold Chain Federation member, Climarite, has won “Small Company Achievement of the Year” at the RAC Cooling Awards in London.
During the event, which is the largest celebration of achievements within the refrigeration and air conditioning sector, Climarite was commended for its ambitious plans and recent diversification to drive business growth.
Judges were also impressed by Climarite’s commitment to training and apprenticeships, engagement with neighbouring education centres, its impact on the local community and carbon reduction plan.

Two of Climarite’s third-year apprentices, Michael Brady and Alex Forkings also reached the final in the “Student of the Year Category” and were celebrated as the future of the industry.
RAC Cooling Awards was held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London on Thursday 25th September 2025. The event aims to honour the outstanding achievements within the AVACR sector, bringing together the industry’s leading experts and top tier businesses.
