Stef to buy Bakker Logistiek

Paris, France: Stef is set to buy Netherlands-based Bakker Logistiek subject to approval by Dutch regulators. Closing is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2024. This acquisition will strengthen Stef’s territorial coverage and broaden the range of transport, logistics and packaging services dedicated to food products.

Bakker Logistiek, a fourth-generation family group, handles logistics and packaging for ambient and chilled foods in the Netherlands with 1,400 employees and 325 vehicles. Turnover is €150m and it has six sites and three locations: Zeewolde, Tilburg and Heerenveen, with 170,000m² and 205,000 pallet places. Stef has operated in the Netherlands since 2014 and has four sites in locations: Bodegraven, Eindhoven and Raalte.
