Perth, Scotland: Stewarts of Tayside, a fruit and vegetable producer, has added ten new Gray & Adams 13.6m reefers with Carrier’s Vector 1550 fridges.
The trailers join a 30-trailer fleet, all Carrier-cooled since 2004. Jim Winn, transport manager, Stewarts of Tayside, said: “It isn’t just their reliable equipment that’s kept us coming back, the maintenance support we get is… exceptional.”
Stewarts’ fridges are covered by EverCold maintenance packages.
The new trailers will operate for around seven years clocking around 100,000 miles a year. delivering fresh produce, primarily swede, strawberries and raspberries.
