Aylesford, Kent: Family-owned temperature-controlled logistics and storage firm Subzero is opening a second cold storage site in Aylesford, Kent.
The second site will store chilled, frozen and ambient products.It will include a rest and relaxation area for both Subzero and visiting drivers. Managing director Stewart Williams said: “By providing these facilities, we are placing a small part in contributing to job security and better mental health for drivers.”
Subzero runs a multi-temperature fleet with “independent temperature control at the front and rear compartments and movable bulkheads between the refrigeration units”.
The expansion is expected to be fully operational by the end of this month.
