This coming May, as part of their ‘Charity of the Year’ initiative and continued support for Rowans Hospice, Tekta are taking on their biggest challenge yet; Snowdon.
As a high-performance doorway specialist, Tekta are committed to delivering solutions that are built to perform under pressure. This same mindset is now being applied beyond the workplace, as the team prepares to take on the great 1,085 metre mountain together.
This is a collective effort across the business. Team members from all areas of Tekta are contributing through training, fundraising and active participation. It is not defined by roles or titles, but by a shared commitment to supporting a meaningful cause and working together to achieve a common goal.
Rowans Hospice is based in South-East Hampshire and offers: free inpatient and community care, access to their Living Well Centre, day-therapy services, spiritual and psychological support, bereavement counselling, and home-based care.
Whether people turn to them in the hospice itself or receive care at home, Rowans Hospice cares not only for patients but also for their families, offering much needed comfort, dignity and compassion during difficult times.
With 78% of Rowans’ funding coming from donations, fundraising, legacies and their charity shops, community support is essential to their mission. For Tekta, supporting Rowans felt like a natural and heartfelt decision.
