Amsterdam, Netherlands: TIP Trailer Services has a range of telematics-based services for operators under the name of TIP Insight.
TIP Insight uses telematics to collect data about a trailer’s performance for customers. TIP has a TIP Insight business unit which will help customers access the telematics-services.

The platform, FleetConnected, provides customers with visibility of trailers and analytical tools to improve fleet performance. There is ‘track and trace’ with a geo-fencing capability as well as on-screen performance-related alerts concerning anything from the performance of the braking system and the opening of rear doors, to the pressure of the tyres and the temperature of the fridge. Reporting tools can be customised to suit customers needs for remote management of a fleet.
