Paris, France: Geodis has appointed Xavier Avrard as its chief strategy officer.
n January 2023, Xavier took over the strategic development of the Europe region, particularly the integration of Trans-o-flex, a temperature-controlled logistics operator in Germany, acquired by Geodis.
Avrard joined Geodis in 2014 as group controller. then became managing director for Projects Logistics In 2019 he was senior vice president of the Odyssey program that managed the group’s digital transformation program.
Since July he leads the new group strategy department responsible for corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration and the monitoring of the group’s strategic investments and developments.
