Redditch, UK: Oakland International has been shortlisted in two categories of the Chamber Business Awards 2024. The first award is Excellence in Sustainability which recognises efforts to reduce carbon, improve resource efficiency and minimise waste.
The Commitment in the Community award recognises a business’ community dedication to delivering beneficial schemes, initiatives and policies which positively impact local communities. Oakland International Luke Attwell said: “We are absolutely delighted to be selected as a finalist in not one, but two categories of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards.
“Environmentally, we remain focused on becoming the first net zero business in our industry, having earnt B Corp accreditation, and upholding our bold Science Based Target (SBT) pledge.”
The awards are sponsored by Herefordshire Council and Worcestershire County Council. They take place on Thursday, 13 June, at the Worcester Arena.
